For a long time point-and-shoot digital cameras had little to offer clicksters desiring some control over a shot they were framing, but that's not the case now, as Casio's Exilim EX-Z150 illustrates. The slim 8.1-megapixel pocketcam, selling in the $148-179 range, has an assortment of features that give a snapshooter a delightful degree of flexibility when snatching an image ...
Hey, Casio: Time to call Jenny Craig. Your formerly slim, sexy Exilim cameras have ballooned up like William Shatner. Witness the EX-Z150, a chunky, pocket-sagging model that looks like it has a glandular disorder. Fortunately, like the fat guy on the basketball court who hits every jumper, the Z150 quickly proves its worth ...
The slim, 8-megapixel Casio Exilim EX-Z150 point-and-shoot camera aims for the teen-friendly sweet spot of slick looks and functionality. For $200, this little camera comes in a variety of bright candy colors, in addition to black and silver. It also has an impressive 3-inch LCD on the back, a feature that several of my friends with older cameras saw and coveted. Mostly metal, this camera feels sturdy, and its matte shine is quite attractive ...
It's becoming difficult to up the ante in today's crowded market for ultra-compact consumer cameras. Just a few months ago Casio introduced the Exilim EX-Z100 and Z200 to the US market (in January of 2008) -- a pair of ultra-compact 10-megapixel cameras that come in a variety of colors, a variety of new features and a new 4X optical zoom. The sole difference between the two of them was the Z200's active CCD anti shake. Given that Casio already offers the 8.1 megapixel Z9 and Z80, where could yet another 8-megapixel Exilim fit in? Read on.
The EXILIM Zoom EX-Z150 is an 8.1 Megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom lens that can shoot as wide as 28mm (equivalent). This is a compact model sporting a stylish and durable metal exterior. To combat camera-shake, the EX-Z150 employs an anti-shake function that compensates for blur by actually moving the imaging element (also called sensor-shift). Of course, this model also incorporates high sensitivity anti-blur feature, which reduces blur by raising the camera's sensitivity and therefore increasing shutter speeds.
Casio Exilim EX-Z150 : Another new compact to announce! This time Casio Europe unveils a new Exilim digital camera, the Casio Exilim Z150. The release of the newest model in its Exilim series means another stylish and slim digital compact which features a wide-angle zoom lens, a CCD-shift anti-shake function, a very large LCD monitor and an 8.1 effective megapixel resolution. The Casio Exilim EX-Z150 has the features and functions needed to meet the demanding requirements of today's digital camera users, all in the slimmest camera in the world with a built-in wide-angle 28 mm (35 mm film equivalent) 4X optical zoom lens, at just 20.1 mm thick (18.9 mm at the thinnest section).
In this era of cool, neat-looking, ergonomic gadgets, Casio’s Exilim EX-Z150 ranks right up there with the iPod and iPhone. The EX-Z150 is a stylish, ultra-slim, all-metal digital camera that will turn heads whenever it’s whipped out. Although this fun, easy-to-use device is capable of capturing good-quality stills and videos, as well as showing and sharing them on a bright 3-inch LCD screen, the EX-Z150’s slow shooting speed and inconsistent exposure can be frustrating.
